Crime Stoppers Barbados in association with the
Republic Bank “Power to Make a Difference Initiative”
There are no restrictions to the genre of music used as the back beat for the jingle
however absolutely no profanities (creatively disguised or not) are to used in the lyrics. So you can show your national pride with a bit of Soca or even give it a Bashment feel or Dub spin. Be as creative as you wish but let's keep it clean.
All Barbadian youth ages 11 - 16 are eligible to submit an entry.
There will be two entry categories, Individual or Group (no more than five persons).
Entrants will be required to enter their full name/s and age/s, as well as the school/s they attend and at least one email address or contact number to be used for contact purposes.
All entries must include an audio track (no longer than 60 seconds) an a written copy of lyrics.
All Jingles submitted must include the phrase "Cool Yuh Head" and speak to the importance of anger management and conflict resolution. Special points to be awarded to any person/s who can include references to the Republic Bank "Power to Make a Difference Initiative" as well.
