About our Program

Crime Stoppers Barbados is a community based action programme that gives every person in Barbados the opportunity to become involved in the fight against crime, thereby overcoming the two key elements that inhibit community involvement: fear and apathy.

ALL types of crimes can be reported to Crime Stoppers; whether it be bank fraud, SIM card fraud, robbery, murder, possession of illegal guns and narcotics, domestic abuse etc. If you have information on a crime that is being planned, this can also be reported.

Cash rewards of up to BB$1,000.00 are offered to citizens who furnish information that leads to the arrest of criminals, seizure of illegal firearms and narcotics or to the prevention or solution of a crime while guaranteeing anonymity and confidentiality.

Crime Stoppers is only interested in the information that you have. When you call us, you do not have to give your name or your address. You will never be called upon as a witness or to testify in a court of law: because we would never know who you are!

Citizens and residents of Barbados can call 1-800-8477 toll-free to give vital information to help fight against any wrong doing of any kind. Information received will be discreetly forwarded by Crime Stoppers to  all appropriate agencies including the Royal Barbados Police Force. You can also send us a tip using Web Tips on this website. Web Tips is a secure and confidential technology that uses various forms of encription to ensure your confidentiality and anonymity.

Crime Stoppers Barbados received the blessings and full support of Police Commissioner of the Royal Barbados Police Force, Mr. Darwin Dottin. It was officially launched on February 26th 2009.

Crime Stoppers Barbados is run by a volunteer board comprising  individuals from a cross section of industries such as manufacturing, education, financial services, tourism services, security services and media.

The day to day operations of Crime Stoppers Barbados are managed by the Crime Stoppers Secretariat and the Police Coordinator.

Mission Statement

Crime Stoppers Barbados is dedicated to supporting the Royal Barbados Police Force as it seeks to eradicate criminal activity in Barbados for the benefit of its citizenry and visitors.
